Jade Empire Xbox Known Issues

Known issues for Jade Empire Xbox.

Please select a question:

1.01 Main character is not able to interact with objects or other characters.
1.02 There is a rare issue that may occur after completing quests at black Leopard school where followers do not re-join after solo combat and no quest reward is given.
1.03 Identified a rare issue where the PC is unable to interact with objects or non-player characters in the Imperial market if the "Ren Seng" and "Aishi" quests are open simultaneously.

1.01: Main character is not able to interact with objects or other characters. (Back to Top)

This rare issue is the product of the game getting stuck in a state where it thinks the PC is in conversation when they are not. As a result the PC is not able to interact with objects or other characters in the game.

A work around for this issue is to create a new saved game in an empty slot and then load that game.

1.02: There is a rare issue that may occur after completing quests at black Leopard school where followers do not re-join after solo combat and no quest reward is given. (Back to Top)

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause and have discovered a number of workarounds to deal with it. To fix the henchman issue, engage in any fight that removes your henchman (Arena, Old Master's in Tien's Landing, and Student Sparring in the school). Once the PC has fought in one of these combats, they will be able to use the henchman page again.

Unfortunately, once broken there is no way to finish the Black Leopard plot and receive the reward for completion. The only available option is to reload to any save game before the final fight in that area and try it again. However, the Black Leopard plot is optional and does not affect critical path of the game. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

1.03: Identified a rare issue where the PC is unable to interact with objects or non-player characters in the Imperial market if the "Ren Seng" and "Aishi" quests are open simultaneously. (Back to Top)

The solution to this infrequent issue is to reload to a previous saved game from before you took both quests. You cannot have both the "Ren Seng" and "Aishi" quests simultaneously active. Please ensure you completely finish one before taking the other. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
