They've been changing things with the account signup process, which has led to more people being able to create an account there. See the thread here.
The posting problem has been mentioned in this forum, and is also something they're currently working on, although I think that may have been addressed now. There is also this thread.

I'm stuck on "Create a New Account - 2. Profile Setup" (where you select your avatar) with the message "Error creating EA Account". I found this thread by Googling, oddly enough. *sigh* |

Changing the password on my main EA account fixed it for me. |

Display Name is already in use.
Error creating social site account
This is all I keep getting. I have an EA account, have a Bioware account, got them both linked but still gives me this damn message. Anyone found a workaround for this tyet? |

Anyone know why i cant log into the ea servers on the game? Gives me a please try again error over and over. Does the same thing on need for speed shift, so i assume its something to do wit EA however battlefield logs in just fine. |

I get "Error creating EA Account".
I've been using Xelmar for everything forever so for all I know I can't link the accounts because the EA Xelmar account already exists.

I'm still unable to set up an account with bioware social network. it will not let me go on states that my email address already is in use. of course it is by my when will this issue be fixed?? |

I've posted on forums, sent support tickets, etc. Still getting the same error about the name already existing, which it of course does its my name on accounts that are linked together. Can play the game but cant redeem any of my stuff. |

Same thing here. Getting quite frustrated with the inability to link my EA account or login with my EA account in the Bioware social site. Tried support in various forms but had no replies at all. Pretty disappointing. |

Please keep in mind though that it's a new game as well as a new website. They have a lot to go through.
